The following questions and answers are designed to provide an overview of Lords Valley Country Club and the membership opportunities available at the Club.

Q: What is Lords Valley Country Club?

A: Lords Valley Country Club is situated on the historic estate of William Brewster located in the Pocono Mountains of Northeast Pennsylvania. The Club features superlative golf, tennis, lake activities: sailing, kayaking, paddle boards, a swimming pool, dining, and year-round social events. We offer several membership types for all lifestyles.

Q: Who owns the Club facilities?

A: In 1963 the Brewster Estate was fully purchased by the Lords Valley Country Club members and has since been a member-owned private club. Our equity members own the Club. It was the Club President at that time, George Nye, who firmly believed that the Club should control its own destiny and led the process to make it happen.

Q: What facilities does the Club offer?

A: Members, their families and guests enjoy the following unique Club Facilities:
    •  Scenic 18-Hole Championship Golf Course
    •  10 Har-Tru Tennis Courts
    •  Swimming Pool
    •  Lake Activities: sailing, paddle boats and boards, kayaks
    •  Driving Range
    •  Snack Bars
    •  Fitness Room
    •  Golf and Tennis Pro Shop
    •  Men's and Women's Golf, Tennis, and Swim Locker Rooms

Q: Who is eligible for a membership in the Club?

A: Memberships are offered to persons who are sponsored by two existing members of the Club in good standing. The prospective member then is required to go through our membership process.

Q: What are the privileges of a General Membership?

A: General Members are entitled to use all of the golf, tennis, lake, swimming, dining and other social facilities of the Club. Full Members are not required to pay greens fees, but shall be required to pay cart fees, dues and minimums.

Q: What are the minimums?

A: There is a minimum dining charge for food and beverage. Each member is obligated to spend a minimum of $700 during the five-month period of April 1st through August 31st, and $500 for the six-month period of September 1st through February 28th. (The Club is closed during the month of March.) Any unspent minimum will be charged to the member at the end of each period.

Q: May I invite guests to the Club?

A: Yes. Having your friends enjoy the Club's outstanding facilities with you is a wonderful amenity of membership in the Club. Therefore, members are entitled to have guests use the Club Facilities in accordance with the rules and regulations adopted by the Club to preserve the exclusivity of its facilities.
